Open Space Events at World Social Forums

This page will be a placeholder for Open Space Events organized at various World Social Forums.

• At WSF 2005, members of the EIOS collective organized the following three events.
• At the Karachi edition of the polycentric WSF 2006, members of CACIM had planned to organize the WsfKarachi2006CACIMEvents, but because all expect one member of the 16-member CACIM team were denied visas, all these events have been cancelled!
• Explorations in/of Open Spaces @ India Social Forum, New Delhi, November 2006, with Alexis Bhagat, (Art, tradition and limits : forms without tradition, and the ‘open’ spaces OUTSIDE of tradition (?)), Kolya Abramsky (Open Space, Closed Histories? - Rereading the histories of the Communist international - a Western European Perspective) and Blank Noise Project (a campaign against eve teasing in public spaces).
• At WSF 2007 Nairobi, CACIM, New Delhi with CCS, Durban organised two events on Open Space.
